Race Updates:
• Gray Rock 7/8: Richard has some entries for the race and has a list for counts. Richard reports he is still working on sponsors but thinks he will be ok. Richard will order 60 more mugs. Richard has shirts on order and they are black and gray camo with a Gray Rock, and HCR logo. Richard will use Miss Dees for food. Richard reports no flyer this year to save money and deems the internet a better way to sell. Richard will finalize with DNR for the 5 year permit. Richard to contact Search and Rescue for their services for the race. Richard will be using bottled water and Gator Aid that can be poured into cups. Jeff Hagan and hiking club will mark the course. Frank will run 12K then help after that.
• Clear lake Run 6/11: Brian confirmed that there is a fishing derby at the lake but shouldn’t be a problem for us. Brian reports that USFS requires shirt sales to be logged as it is considered a reward. Brian reports we will need to raise fee up next year to get race in the black. He is thinking 20 for members and 25 nonmembers, with late registration to be 30. T-shirts will remain the same cost. Richard suggests taking a picture of the t-shirt and post on Face Book. Brian reports 15 are registered for the 5 mile and 4 for the half marathon. Randy said he could help with the race and Joseph can help with timing the race.
