The third annual Salmon Run 5K & 10K was run on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from the All Nations Center on the West Wapato Road.

The race was an out and back very flat 5K and 10K distances.
Age groups were set as small fry, medium fry and large fry……..keep in mind the name of the race.

A nice ‘big fish’ (see picture) sent the runners off and welcomed each back to the finish line/area.

Pat Miller and Kenn Zahn were the ‘domestics’ for Karen Miller and Jean Zahn for their race this Sunday afternoon. Both have been working very hard to from power walking to run/walking. This day, they did an excellent job of finishing with a 35 minute time.

Congratulations to Sandy Boyd for winning the ‘large fry’ overall award in the 5K and to Crispin Garza for winning the overall 10K race.

Nice graphic for the design on the shirts for the participants and a salmon sandwiches with assorted cookies, fruits and beverages were at the finish for all to enjoy.
